" i am not bound to win, but i am bound to be true. i must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong." - abraham lincoln this means that no matter what happened to him that he would always do what was good. he also said that he would always stand with those doing good and when they started doing bad, he'd leave them. but as long as they did good, he'd be by their side supporting them. i think that he was also okay with losing because even if he'd fail, he'd always try something new and try again. he wouldn't let his failure determine what he'd do. he would just move on and try something else and hope that it works out. this is good because this may have been how he got far enough to become president.

psychiatric aide duties: assists certain patients and takes them to do daily activities or accompany them to and from examinations and treatments salary: $250,400 usd annually education: graduate high school, drivers license demand: grow 6% by 2026 reflection:   i do not think that i would like to do this. i do not think that i would like to be one because it might bore me. i think that i would get tired of accompanying people everywhere all day. i understand that these people also do different things but that's not something i'd be interested in either. i don't think that i would have the patience to do this i know i would get tired of it very easily. i would prefer a job where i didn't have to go out so much with people and wait in doctors offices with them. i also think that the job doesn't pay that well. you don't have to do much but for me that seems boring.

podiatrist duties: aka a foot and ankle surgeon help disorders of the foot ankle and leg salary: $119,340 usd annually education: doctoral or professional degree demand: 14% by 2024 reflection: i do not think that i would like to be a podiatrist. i don't think that i would like this job, because it sounds weird. i know these jobs are important but to me i wouldn't like it. i think that i would feel uncomfortable doing this. i don't think that i would like to wake up every morning to work with feet legs and ankles it sounds boring to me. i do realize that what these people do is important but for me its just not something i like. i wouldn't want to touch somebody else's foot or ankle or leg it bothers me.

plastic surgeon duties: provide consultations and perform surgery including cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery salary: $407,709 annually education: bachelors degree and m.d. or doctor of medicine 7 years total demand:  expected to go up a lot by 2024 reflection: i do think that i would like to be a plastic surgeon. i think i would like to be one because they get paid a lot and its something im interested in. im interested in seeing how people want others to see them r how they'd prefer to be changed. i think it would help many people too for example people that have been in accidents or any other thing that may have changed their face. i also think that this job can bring people more confidence and make them feel better about themselves.

" character is higher than intellect." - ralph waldo emerson i think this means that how you act is more important than intellect. so basically how you are as a person is more important than how smart you are. so for example you could be a great person and have okay grades but a certain sports team may still want you, because you'd be such good team player. that's what a lot of teams lookfor , is how much good attitude you have. your good attitude can affect how the team plays as a whole and of course how you play as an individual. its important to have good character it can help with a lot. with good character more people will like you and that  can get you further. many teams don't get players unless they have a good character. it would look bad if a team got someone with bad character and they did something that shows that, it would make the whole team look bad.

physical therapy assistant duties : they help physical therapists cure the patient but they can only do that when a physical therapist is watching over them. salary:  $42,980 a year education:  capte 2 year associate degree & bachelors degree demand: 30% by 2026 reflection:  i do not think that i would like to be a physical therapy assistant. i would prefer to be able to do things on my own. i don't think i would like being watched over the whole time. also normal physical therapist get paid more for a bit more schooling, and its the same job. i would rather do one or two more years of schooling and be able to do it on my own and get paid more. this is a job type that id be interested in. i do think that i would like to help others better themselves and get better.

" i trust that my hard work will pay off " this means do the hard work now so that things are easier later. like even though it may be tiring now, later on it'll be worth it and make things easier for you. i think that hard work does pay off especially in school. like the extra studying or extra practice may be hard but it'll help a lot and be worth it later on. for example if the teacher lets us study for a quiz and gives a study sheet, its best i go home and study more. this helps because ill know what the teacher taught us and i'll learn it better. that way when its test time i am able to easily answer questions without getting stuck. and if i get better grades im trusted more and get more advantages.

physical therapist duties: they help ill or injured people improve their movement and learn to move again without so much pain salary: $85,4000 annually education: doctor of physical therapy degree ( about 3 years) , bachelors degree demand: 26% by 2028 reflection: i do think that i would like to be  a physical therapist. i think that i would like this job because i get to help other people. i also think that i would like it because they have a good pay. i also think that the job is very interesting and i'd like it. you get to work with different people that have been through different things. you get to help others better themselves and i'm sure you feel accomplished when you see them doing good.

" true independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right." - brigham young this quote means that when you do good, you are given more rights and freedoms. and if you do bad you're given less freedom and independence. if you do bad you are trusted less and you aren't given much independence because people wont trust you as much. but if you do good, trust is built up and you're responsible enough to have more independence and freedom. like if you do good your parents may trust you more, but if you constantly show negativity, trust will be lost. this can be applied anywhere its always good to be responsible. when you are responsible you'll be trusted and respected a lot more.

pharmacist duties: focus on safe and effective medication they also prepare medications for a patient and dispensing medications  salary: 121,500 USD education: doctoral or professional degree  demand: 3% by 2024  reflection: i do not think that i would like to be a pharmacist. i don't think that i would like to be  a pharmacist because i think you have to focus a lot. i lose my focus very fast and i think that wouldnt be to my advantage. also you have to count an exact number of pills it can not be off by even 1 and me losing focus would be bad. 

" they're only truly great who are truly good" - george chapman  this means only the people who do good are great. like if you do something good for someone then you'll be seen as a great person. or even if you just do good in general people will see you differently. for example the football team who helped the kid get a touchdown instead of them all get touchdowns. the team was viewed as  great, even better than if they woulda made the touchdowns. everyone also felt good about what they did because they know that they did good. 

periodontist duties: they focus on mainly the supporting structures of your teeth and they examine what diseases or conditions might affect these structures this ensures your teeth stay strong and sturdy  salary: as of 2009 it was $305,920 annually  education: dental degree 4 years and periodontics residency 3 years  need: it is expected to grow 9% by 2024 reflection: i do not think that i would like to be a periodontist. i would not want to be one because i would not want to work in somebody else's mouth. i think that i would be really disgusted and that i wouldn't want to do it. i also wouldn't want to look that deep into someone's mouth i think its nasty.  although the amount of school isn't that bad its only 7 years compared to other professions where they require more than 10. i dont think its somewhere id be comfortable working or something id be comfortable doing. it also just isn't an interest of mine. 

" many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. in addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. don't do it." - george mitchell this quote means even if something is good but you know it'll only last a while, it's not worth it. like taking steroids for example these effects will only last you a while then they wear off. or cheating on a test, even if you get a passing score, you don't actually learn the subject and that will cause problems later in life. because then the teacher may ask a question and you get stuck because you never really learned on your own. this can apply to many things in life not just tests or sports.
