valentines day

valentines day is on February 14 and was started a long time ago. there are many stories about saint valentine which was the person who they named valentines day after. some stories believe that he helped get people married illegally and others that he tried rescuing prison people and fell in love with some girl. many people celebrate valentines day and its the second holiday where people send cards, Christmas being the first. approximately 150 million valentines cards are sent out a year on valentines day. a lot of people believe that saint valentine may have been killed and the day he was buried was February 14 which is why w celebrate that day. I've never heard any of these stories till now but i don't know which to believe. Many people celebrate this holiday by sending cards , chocolate , candy and other tings to loved ones.

" character is higher than intellect." - ralph waldo emerson i think this means that how you act is more important than intellect. so basically how you are as a person is more important than how smart you are. so for example you could be a great person and have okay grades but a certain sports team may still want you, because you'd be such good team player. that's what a lot of teams lookfor , is how much good attitude you have. your good attitude can affect how the team plays as a whole and of course how you play as an individual. its important to have good character it can help with a lot. with good character more people will like you and that  can get you further. many teams don't get players unless they have a good character. it would look bad if a team got someone with bad character and they did something that shows that, it would make the whole team look bad.

class evaluation

class evaluation  1. the things that i liked about this class would be what we learned. everyday we received a quote and an example of how to be a good person. i think this has overall helped me a lot . i have taken some of these quotes and applied them to my own life. i think this class has made me try and become a better person. 2. things that i did not like about the class would be the things that we would do. i just think that we did the same thing everyday. i felt tired of the same exact kind of schedule of what we do. i would prefer if we had different things some days so that it doesn't feel like the same day. 3. some recommendations for improving the class would be to be a little less strict. i think future students should be given the chance to sit with friends. if they screw it up than that is up to them and they could be moved. i do not think the whole class should be moved because of two students. i also think the lessons should have more variety. 4. i am readin

xray technician duties and responsibilities: conduct x-rays in patients hospital room, work in a radiology center, or emergency rooms salary: $54,000 usd annually education:  associates degree in radiology, state licensure you can also earn a voluntary certification demand:  expected to grow 13% by 2016 - 2026 reflection:   i do not think that i would like to be a xray technician . this job sounds really boring to me. i also do not think that they make that much good money.
